Greetings! My name is Kristopher Chan. I am an architect by day and a baker by night. I'm also an avid brunch eater, bow tie wearer and half-marathon runner. Lately, I've been training for a triathlon.
I graduated from the University of Washington with an undergraduate and graduate degree in architecture. I was always the student that made sure to go home early not to get sleep for final review, but to bake cookies.
I have been a baking for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories are of standing on my tippy toes to watch cakes being frosted at my local bakery, decorating Christmas cookies for hours, and eating homemade birthday cakes.
Bow Tie Baking is a place to gather and share all of my favorite recipes (both baked and not!). Stick around, this is going to be fun!

blue cheese, slow check out lines, eating off bones, fish heads (sorry I'm not a good Chinese man), and burnt garlic
